I have always had a home inspection performed before buying a home. However, this home we built and had an inspection at the pre-drywall, and pre-move in, (completed by a different home inspection group), and AllCheck performed our 1-year warranty inspection. The report we received was detailed, easy to understand, and pass on to our builder to have any "issues" dealt with at our one-year warranty.
I highly recommend AllCheck, especially if you are new to purchasing a home. The binder you are given, which includes your inspection report, gives you great information on being an educated homeowner. The inspection is thorough and alerts you to any problems the house may currently have or could be a problem in the future.
My inspector, Steven H. was fabulous and thorough.
UPDATE: I had a quick question about a post-inspection roof fix - I am not a roofer so I was unsure if the fix was correct. I sent a quick photo of the "fixed" roof area and was assured, by my inspector Steven, that the fix was complete and correct. *sigh of relief and happy to have hired AllCheck!

Our inspector Steve Hinshaw went absolutely above and beyond to make us feel comfortable as first-time homebuyers navigating a fixer-upper. Steven with AllCheck Inspections did our home inspection on a 1925 property in Indianapolis, and I cannot recommend him enough. As a first-time homebuyer, I was nervous about what I might be walking into, and Steven made the entire process feel manageable.
He let me follow him through the whole inspection and took time to explain what he was looking at and why it mattered. He was thorough, especially in the basement and attic, and pointed out things I never would have noticed on my own. The foundation cracks, improperly notched floor joists, plumbing issues, and electrical concerns he flagged were the kind of findings that genuinely protect a buyer.
The report came back the same day, well-organized with clear photos and useful categorization (Significant Concerns, Minor Issues, Maintenance List). It made it easy for me to put together a serious inspection response with my agent.

Could not recommend AllCheck Inspections enough. Back in January, I happened to be at one of my customers’ homes while Steven was there completing an inspection. Even in the short time our paths crossed, I could immediately tell how detail-oriented and thorough he was. I asked for his business card on the spot and called shortly after to schedule him for the inspection of my new construction home.
Steven first came out for a pre-drywall inspection and reassured me that the builder I was working with was doing a solid job overall, while still pointing out a few imperfections in the building process. Everything was clearly documented in a very detailed report.
He then returned last week for the final inspection and once again provided a thorough report for me to share with my builder. Throughout the entire process, Steven has been incredibly easy to talk to and does a great job explaining things in a way that actually makes sense.

I would absolutely recommend AllCheck to anyone buying a home. Steven was a very stand up guy and helped us find many thousands of dollars worth of issues that the seller would have had to disclose had they not fixed. We opted for a reinspection which yielded even more findings and revealed very shoddy work by the remedial contractors. AllCheck's communication was efficient and reports were thorough. One gripe is that our chimney chase cover was not inspected and is leaking all the way to the foundation; something we would have asked the sellers to fix.

I would absolutely recommend AllCheck to anyone buying a home. Steven was a very stand up guy and helped us find many thousands of dollars worth of issues that the seller would have had to disclose had they not fixed. We opted for a reinspection which yielded even more findings and revealed very shoddy work by the remedial contractors. AllCheck's communication was efficient and reports were thorough. One gripe is that our chimney chase cover was not inspected and is leaking all the way to the foundation; something we would have asked the sellers to fix.

I had a great experience with All Check. They answered all of my questions and got our inspection scheduled quickly. Extremely detail oriented. David completed my inspection and he was thorough as well as informative so I knew what I was getting into, which I was grateful for. As a woman, it’s hard to find businesses that do not talk down to you. I will definitely go with All Check next time we need an inspection. Great price, great customer service, and great inspectors! David performed my inspection and I am so impressed with the turnaround time and detailed report we received! We got an email with our results the same day of the inspection, just hours later. It included many photos and recommendations for repairs and preventative maintenance. Our home is a new build and we weren’t sure if an inspection would be worth it, but we are SO glad we did it!
